Coaching – Turn Challenging Learning into Opportunities

with observations from the Finnish schools


The course is an Action Based Learning Course that will allow you to:

  1. Access learning  at your own pace & have a supporting framework
  2. Create peer learning & share learning space with other teachers
  3. Follow and apply tools – for each module in your real class environment
  4. Accelerate learning with Live meetings, reflecting back on your own work
  5. Learn by journaling with case studies & virtual visits from Finnish schools

25 hours program will be offered in partnership with EUNEOS OY Finland, participants will receive certification.


If you are a teacher interested in strengthening coaching competencies to support your 21st century & you support self-directed learning for autonomous students if you support practicing unlearning as much as learning for critical thinking, self-regulation & co-regulation for blended education, YES!  

Program & Curriculum

Kick Off meeting – how do we organize & work during this course

Module 1

Teach Resilience& building on strengths ( 1st week )

Module 2

Teach Self compassion & empathy ( 2nd week)

Module 3

Teach Resourcefulness & growth mindset (3rd week)

Module 3

Teach Self leadership (efficacy, efficiency, management) 4th week

Virtual visit & best practice exchange with Finnish school

HOW we will work

  • All materials will be available for work in the co-learning space
  • All participants will access a GUIDELINE toolkit for each week work with examples & instruments
  • During the 4 weeks there will be self-reflected work (applying the toolkit), peer learning & feedforward, coach &trainer feed-forward & feedback (online available for your work in Google classroom);
  • 4 live sessions of 120 min
  • Multiculturality will be a strong asset of the course: all teachers in the course are invited to remain in the virtual learning environment, so there are future ideas you can come back to and develop them with teachers from different cultures & systems (prototype new learning projects)


Andreea Gatman – ICF certified Coach , ICF Team Certified Coach, U Lab from MIT practitioner, EUNEOS Trainer in Helsinki for programs like New Learning Ways & Spaces- What next in Finnish Classroom?, School Development, Best Practices Benchmarking in Finland and Estonia and others. 

Tonya Aurto 16 years of experience in school administration,  Tonya has a great overview & understanding of learning relations, analytical & focused video materials from this program, due to her contribution.
